OnePlus has partnered with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) as a way of promoting the launch of its latest entry-level smartphone. The OnePlus Nord N20 5G is hoping to gain traction in the US and one way it is trying to do so is to promote the device via UFC.
Even though the phone has been available in the US since April, it has a limited audience since it is exclusively available on T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile. By partnering with the UFC, OnePlus hopes they can be recognized as a capable smartphone manufacturer in the US. Most notably, the OnePlus Nord N20 5G is one of the cheapest 5G-capable devices in the country.
With this partnership, OnePlus’ brand is expected to make an appearance on UFC’s assets. This includes its Pay-per-View broadcast and custom and original content. The brand will also be featured across official UFC digital platforms, channels, and social media.
