Good news to all Samsung users. The smartphone manufacturer is giving its device users access to cloud storage for 30 days.
The South Korean manufacturer has rolled out a new service called Temporary Cloud Backup, which is designed to give its users access to unlimited cloud storage. This is perfect for users who need to send in their Samsung tablet or phone for repairs and for those who are upgrading to a newer device.
The service is exclusively available to Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets that are running One UI 6. It also requires a Samsung account to use.
Samsung says the service will be available globally starting this fall. It will first roll out to Galaxy S and Z series smartphones in Korea.
While there is no mention of a total storage limit, the individual file size should not be over 100GB. If you are backing up a longer or higher-quality video, it could be affected by this cap.
Also, make sure to access your files before the 30-day period is over since Samsung will automatically delete these files.
