Earlier today, TCL unveiled two of its latest Android smartphones with an affordable price tag. The two new phones, the TCL 20 XE and TCL 20A 5G, will be making their way to prepaid brands in the US.
The first device unveiled today is the TCL 20 XE. This device will be making its way to Boost Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile starting tomorrow, October 29th for $119.99. It comes with a 6.52-inch V-notch HD+ display and is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek processor with 3GB of RAM and 32GB expandable storage.
There are three cameras on the back: a 13-megapixel main sensor and two 2-megapixel cameras. A 5-megapixel camera is available in front for selfies and video calls. Other features include a 5,000mAh battery and a rear--facing fingerprint sensor. Upon release, the phone runs on Android 11 OS.
Meanwhile, the second device is the TCL 20A 5G, which sports a 6.52-inch V-notch HD+ display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB expandable storage.
On the back, there are three cameras available: a 16-megapixel main sensor, a 5-megapixel and a 2-megapixel camera. There is a secondary 13-megapixel camera and a 4,500mAh battery included in the device.
The TCL 20A 5G will be available at Visible in November for under $200, which will make it one of the cheapest 5G smartphones in the US.
