DROID DNA by HTC Quick Look Overview by Wirefly
Wirefly's Scott Lewis goes Hands-on with the DROID DNA by HTC and it's vibrant 5 inch 1080p display. The DROID DNA by HTC A sleek, stylish Android Smartphone for Verizon Wireless. The DNA's 5 inch Super LCD 3 display is the first true high definition display on a smartphone in the US. That makes the DNA the perfect phone for someone that likes to watch movies or play games on their smartphone. An integrated 2020mAh battery powers the vibrant display on the DNA for up to 12.8 hrs of talk-time or 14.7 days stand-by-time. The fact that it is only 9.73mm thick means that it will not take up a lot of room in your purse or pocket. With a top notch display you would expect the DNA to have top notch hardware onside, and it doesn't disappoint. It's powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of processor RAM and 16GB of on-board storage. That means that you will not have any lag or delay when using the DNA. The 8MP rear facing camera takes high quality photos and includes some features like Face Detection, Burst Mode, and the ability to take Panoramic Pictures If you a fan of video chatting or Skyping, then you will enjoy the quality that the 2.1MP front camera on the DNA will offer you. The DNA is running Android 4.1.1 operating system that is layered with the HTC Touch Wiz user interface. This pairing gives you a silky smooth experience while navigating through your home-screens. My favorite thing about the DNA is the Black and Red design of the phone. It makes the DNA standout in a sea of plain looking black smartphones.
