Samsung Unveils New Smartwatch With Fitness Features

With fitness bands being all the rage this holiday season, Samsung decided to jump on the bandwagon and plans to release two new versions of the Samsung Galaxy Gear watch, but this time with fitness features. This past Sunday, Samsung unveiled two more computerized wristwatches, but this time including health sensors and fitness features. These watches are said to mirror similar functions to the popular Fitbit or UP by Jawbone bands.

The Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo will have a heart rate sensor, a pedometer, and other features that will measure fitness activity, sleep patterns, and stress levels. Thus far, no price has been released for the new devices, but it is said that they will release in April.
