AT&T has a price hike in store. According to a report, the wireless carrier plans to raise prices on older unlimited plans. Single lines will get an increase of $10, while multiple lines will get a $20 increase on the overall bill.
The price hike affects legacy unlimited plans such as:
Unlimited & More
Unlimited & More Premium
Unlimited Choice
Unlimited Choice II
Unlimited Choice Enhanced
Unlimited Plan
Unlimited Plus
Unlimited Plus Enhanced
Unlimited Value Plan
Unlimited Plan (with TV)
Apart from increasing the prices on these plans, AT&T is also increasing the high-speed and hotspot data allowances on these plans. AT&T has provided detailed information about the change in its support page.
You basically have three options: keep your current plan, switch to a newer plan, or cancel your service. The new price hike will take effect with August 2024 bills.
