It looks like Boost Mobile is making updates to its wireless plans. Aside from this, the brand will be making a major change on how it handles device subsidies.
The upcoming changes were revealed on a HowardForums post.
As of this writing, Boost offers varying plans online and in its stores. According to BestMVNO, these plan offerings will be converged in November so there is less confusion on the part of customers. It will also make the plan options similar in stores and online.
Once the change is implemented, the new plan options will look like this:
$15 per month plan - comes with 3GB of high-speed data (taxes and fees cost extra, no device discounts allowed)
$25 per month plan - comes with 30GB of high-speed data (taxes and fees cost extra, no device discounts allowed)
$30 per month plan - comes with 10GB of high-speed data (only for ACP customers)
$40 per month plan - comes with 30GB high-speed data
$50 per month plan - comes with 30GB high-speed data, global calling, $30 additional lines
$60 per month plan - comes with 30GB high-speed data, global calling, hotspot, Mexico roaming, $40 additional lines
All plans (except for the base rate) require autopay billing enrollment.
Another important change that is happening at Boost Mobile is with its device subsidy.
The report shared that customers who receive a device discount will no longer have an option to switch to a lower-priced plan until 12 consecutive payments have been made on the existing plan.
Once 12 payments have been made, customers can switch to any plan they prefer.
