Cricket Wireless has released a new slogan: “people who come to Cricket stay with Cricket.” Along with this, the AT&T prepaid brand has launched a few TV ads and videos that talk about its retention program. And true enough, this is evidenced in AT&T’s Q2 2022 earnings report where they had less than 3% churn rate.
As reported by Wave7 Research, these new ads were launched from July 30 to Aug. 3. BestMVNO details two of these ads shown in English and Spanish. Both of these ads showcase the new slogan along with the tagline: “Smile, you’re on Cricket.”
The English TV ad, titled “Kate D,” opens with a Cricket mascot talking about the new slogan. The next scene is a video testimonial from a customer named Kate D. She says that her decision to switch to the prepaid brand has been a major upgrade. She also points out that “5G is like fast fast.” The mascot then says “switch for the speed, stay for the savings.” The ad then pitches Cricket’s $25/line with 4 lines offer.
The other ad in Spanish language, titled “Renzo M,” is somewhat similar to the Kate D ad. The only difference is Renzo M works at a restaurant and says Cricket offers the best family plans for less money. A voiceover then says: “Big plans, big savings, big ingredients.”
