Google’s Find My Device Feature Works on Pixel 8 Devices Even If You’re Phone Has Died

Google has a new feature that will help Android device users.

The tech giant has rolled out its Find My Device network, which allows Android phones to look for devices and accessories powered by Bluetooth. The best news is that Pixel 8 users are getting a big perk from this. 

Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro users can now use the Find My Device network to look for their missing device. Here’s the good part: they can do this even if the phone is switched off. 

This feature is available on the Pixel 8 devices because of “specialized Pixel hardware.” Google, however, did not elaborate on what this tech is. Hopefully, other Android devices will adapt this feature soon so that they can take advantage of Find My Device.
