Metro by T-Mobile has given its flagship unlimited plan a new update. For starters, the plan now includes unlimited texting to more than 210 countries. Another important change is that the plan now comes with 20GB of hotspot data instead of just 15GB. And this is still at the same $60 per month rate for a single line.
Unfortunately, the carrier will be removing a perk that it has offered to customers for the last four years. As reported by BestMVNO, Metro by T-Mobile will no longer be including an Amazon Prime subscription to customers under that plan.
But there is a way to continue to get this as a perk for a limited time period. Thanks to the merger between T-Mobile and Sprint, customers can subscribe to the legacy $60 plan and get an Amazon Prime subscription as a perk. You’ll have to call Metro by T-Mobile to ask for the plan directly.
The report also reveals that Metro by T-Mobile’s 4th line free offer may have been removed. This is because the pricing for lines two to five on their website has been changed. But as a wireless industry insider, Mil Hustles, shared, this offer is still available. It’s possible that the carrier’s website may have a pricing error.
