Yesterday, Motorola unveiled two of its upcoming mid-range 5G devices: the moto g stylus 5G (2022) and the moto g 5G.
As revealed by PhoneScoop, these two devices will be heading to several carriers in the country. Some of the confirmed networks include AT&T, Cricket, Boost Mobile, US Cellular, and Xfinity Mobile.
The two devices come with a 50-megapixel main camera, 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging, water resistance, fingerprint reader, a headset jack, and expandable storage. Upon release, these two phones will run on Android 12. Fortunately, that is where those similars come to rest. Here are more details about these two phones:
The Motorola moto g stylus 5G (2022) model comes with a 6.8-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This refresh rate is a step up compared to its predecessor and its 4G LTE variant. In addition to the display, Motorola has improved this device by adding a Snapdragon 695 processor and NFC.
Aside from the 50-megapixel main sensor already mentioned, the moto g stylus 5G (2022) also includes an 8-megapixel wide/macro camera and a 16-megapixel front-facing sensor. It also comes with a built-in stylus.
There are a few variants available for this device. The base model comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage. Other options include a 6 or 8GB of RAM and 256GB onboard storage.
Two colors will be available: seafoam green and steel blue. A mmWave 5G variant will be available from Verizon.
You can pick up an unlocked moto g stylus 5G (2022) from Motorola’s website starting April 28th. It is said to cost $500.
This device comes as a 5G version of the moto g power (2022). The two devices share similar specs, such as a 6.5-inch LCD HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate. The 5G model is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip with 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage. There will be an unlocked model with 6GB of RAM and 256GB onboard storage.
Apart from the 50-megapixel main sensor, it will have a 2-megapixel macro lens and a depth camera. In front, there is a 13-megapixel camera available.
Motorola will start selling unlocked versions of the moto g 5G on May 19th for $400.
