Samsung has unveiled its new updates for its camera app. And today, these updates are now rolling out to the Galaxy S22 series of phones.
One of the features that many are looking forward to in the update is Maintenance Mode, which protects users’ data on select Galaxy devices when they hand in their device for repair.
As for the camera app updates, the Expert Raw brings two new “Special Photo” options in the Settings app: Multiple Exposure and Astrophoto. The former feature takes several photos and combines these for better photos. Meanwhile, the Astrophoto feature provides “professional-looking photos of stars and dark sky activity.” The feature also brings a “Sky Guide” that pinpoints constellations.
The update also brings new options to the Camera Assistant app. These options allow you to customize the active features. Through this, you can now disable features like Auto lens switching, Soften pictures, Auto HDR, Faster shutter, and Video recording in Photo mode. The update also allows you to choose the number of photos that can be taken in timer mode or how long before the camera app times out.
