US Mobile has announced some changes it made to its GSM network. In a nutshell, the changes include improved GSM 5G, native roaming and international long distance calling, eSIM activations, enhanced 5G speeds, upgraded plan offerings, and automated top ups. They have also revealed an improved free trial offer.
Here are the new changes in place.
As announced by US Mobile, they are working with a new partner for its GSM network. In the process, this has allowed the provider to get more features too. One of these is the ability to offer eSIM. This also allows them to access 5G standalone networks for some devices.
The partnership has also allowed US Mobile to offer native international roaming, which they now offer with up to 10GB free for unlimited premium users.
On their announcement page, US Mobile shared that they listened to the feedback of their users on what they want to see added to their plans. These include the following:
5GB additional hotspot and an extra 10GB of premium data for our Unlimited Starter Plan.
Doubled Hotspot data to 10 GB for our Unlimited Essential plan.
1 GB shared bundle now offers 2 GB.
The 500 MB plan is now just $5, making it a perfect fit for new users, kids, seniors, or as a second number.
US Mobile has also added Automated Top Up as a feature to its users. With this feature in place, the data on a shared data plan automatically tops up once it falls below a certain threshold.
The best part about this is that users can set up the rules for this feature. This way, they can still be in control of their top-up amount and the frequency of these top-ups.
Lastly, US Mobile improved its free trial offer. Prior to today’s change, the free offer was limited to 45 days and gave a $25 gift card.
With the new change in place, the free trial now lasts 50 days and comes with a $50 gift card. And if you have a second line to transfer, you get another $50 gift card.
