Verizon Expands 5G Network in Select Beaches on the East Coast

Are you heading to the beach this summer? Verizon’s got you covered as it boosts and expands its 5G coverage in select beaches in the East Coast. 

As shared by PhoneArena, Verizon listened to Morning Consult’s recent survey that showed a number of beachgoers who stay glued to their phones even at the beach. Taking this number into consideration, the wireless carrier announced the addition of 20 new small cells and 5G capacity to existing cell sites. The areas where you can expect upgraded 5G service include Myrtle Beach and Hilton Head.
