Having a cracked screen fixed can be costly. This is why Samsung’s new promotion is such an appealing offer to everyone dealing with a cracked display right now.
As reported by Android Authority, Samsung is giving US phone owners a chance to get their cracked screens fixed for just $50. This promotion is available from June 13th until the 27th only. And obviously, the offer is only for Samsung devices.
As for the devices that are eligible for this promotion, the report says that it will only accept the following:
Any Galaxy S phone from the Galaxy S9 series and newer (excluding Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy S20 FE)
Any Galaxy Note phone from the Galaxy Note 9 and newer
Any Galaxy A phone
Unfortunately, foldable Samsung phones are not eligible for the $50 repair.
The report has also listed down some of the caveats of the promotion. Some of these are pretty standard caveats like only one repair per customer is allowed and a Samsung account is needed before getting your phone fixed. Other things you need to know is that the promotion will only fix front-facing displays. It will not accept repairs for the back glass, frame, ports, buttons, cameras, circuit boards, and anything else. You also need to mail your phone to Samsung instead of walking into the store.
