Recently, an independent analytics company conducted a study to find the best US fixed broadband provider. Surprisingly, the study revealed a big change for T-Mobile customers.
Opensignal’s recent USA Fixed Broadband Experience May 2024 study took a look at four metrics: Download Speed, Upload Speed, Consistent Quality, and Video Experience. It also took a look at the five Internet Service Providers of the country: AT&T, Spectrum, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Xfinity. Here’s what their study revealed:
When it comes to Consistent Quality and Video Experience, Xfinity was the winner. Spectrum took the crown in Download Speed while AT&T won in Upload Speed.
T-Mobile lost to Verizon across the categories it was tested in.
Charter and Comcast won in the direct comparisons against the top three major carriers.
