ZTE has just unveiled its newest smartphone called the ZTE Blade X1 5G. Along with its reveal, the smartphone manufacturer announced that the device will be sold at two Verizon-owned prepaid brands: Visible and Yahoo Mobile.
The Blade X1 5G is a mid-range device with humble specs. It comes with a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 2340x1080 resolution. From within, the phone runs on a 2.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor with 6GB of RAM, 128GB onboard storage, with a microSD card slot for memory expansion.
There is a quad rear camera configuration on the back complete with a 48-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel lens, and two 2-megapixel sensors. In front, there is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
Other features include a 4,000mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge 3.0, NFC, a fingerprint sensor, and Bluetooth 5.0. It runs Android 10 OS upon release. Despite its name, it does not support Verizon’s 5G mmWave/Ultra-Wideband network.
The device is available at $384 plus tax or $16/month with financing. The two prepaid brands are also running a switcher promotion for the device where you can get a $150 (Visible) or $200 (Yahoo Mobile) Prepaid Mastercard Virtual Account upon your purchase.
