Apple has released its latest OS update to the public. The new iOS 16 is now available to download on iPhone 8 and later devices.
One of the key features of the latest iOS version is personalization. The new iOS update allows users to make changes to the accent color and typeface of both date and clock. This way, it can match your wallpaper.
The new update also allows users to add widgets to the home screen. Users can now also make multiple lock screens and link them to certain focus modes. The iOS update has also redesigned its notifications to support a feature known as Live Activities. Through this feature, users can easily track things like Uber rides and scores.
iOS 16 also gives users the ability to unsend and edit messages in iMessage. The update also allows you to mark texts as unread so you can read them later.
If you are using an iPhone XS or later device, you can copy an object from an image on the Photos app. Then you can paste this somewhere without a background.
Apple also added passkey support so users have an extra layer of security for online passwords. These passkeys are now compatible with non-Apple products and can be accessed through iCloud Keychain.
