AT&T has just been named as the fastest carrier in the country. The recognition comes from Ookla, a company known as the most popular testing tool throughout the world.
The results of its latest quarterly analysis named AT&T as the winner of the Q3 2019 report. The test gathered information based on the users of its Speedtest app and web service. The exact number of respondents, unfortunately, is kept under wraps. But it’s easy to assume that the tool was able to gather enough feedback.
AT&T’s win isn’t at all surprising. After all, this is the third consecutive quarter that AT&T achieved this title. The huge surprise in this survey is Sprint’s second-place win. This is a big shock for many, especially since Sprint has long been nicknamed as the nation’s fourth largest carrier.

Sprint - 31.84
T-Mobile - 31.36
Verizon - 29.41
This, indeed, comes as a huge shock since Verizon has long been a leader among the U.S. major carriers. We will have to wait and see how Verizon bounces back from this in the next Ookla speed test results.
