Have you heard of Rainbow SIMs? This is a type of SIM that works on qualified devices with the right radio bands in them. By using Rainbow SIMs, DISH/Echostar can allow qualified users to connect to its Boost 5G network. In areas where the network is unavailable, users can connect to AT&T OR T-Mobile via roaming.
As reported by BestMVNO, DISH/Echostar is working on making Rainbow SIMs available to customers transferring to their network. This way, they can reduce costs for transferring customers. Boost stores will soon activate qualified devices with Rainbow SIMs on plans priced $40 or higher.
The report shared that in addition to Rainbow SIMs, Boost has a few device promos. From March 15 to 17, Boost will be running a flash sale that offers the iPhone 11 64GB for free. Outside of those dates, the iPhone 11 is priced at $19.99 at Boost.
The Dish-owned brand has also reduced the price of the iPhone 15 128GB to $399 instead of $829.99. But you will need to activate Boost’s $60 unlimited plan for the offer to be valid.
