Some T-Mobile customers encountered issues when using their smartphones earlier today. Apparently, some customers were getting an error message when trying to send a text message even though it went through. There were also customers who had trouble making calls.
The customers turned to Reddit to share their experiences. DownDetector also revealed that the issues peaked at around 6am ET on February 16.
When the affected customers tried to call T-Mobile’s hotline number, 611, an automated message for a technical difficulty greeted them.
Fortunately, T-Mobile has quickly worked on the issue. It also sent a message to The Mobile Report to talk about what happened.
“We resolved an issue that caused some customers to experience intermittent issues with texting and calling for a short period overnight. This was related to planned work on our network. We apologize for any inconvenience.”
