After the havoc left behind by Hurricane Milton, three million Floridians were left with no power. Some even had to worry about the destroyed properties left by the storm. To alleviate affected customers, Verizon has announced that it will be waiving domestic, call, text, and data usage for postpaid customers. This will also be available to Verizon Small Business customers.
The waived fees will be applicable for usage from October 9 to October 23. The following counties will have waived fees:

Glades
Hardee
Hernando
Highlands
Hillsborough
Indian River
Lake
Lee
Levy
Manatee
Marion
Okeechobee
Orange
Osceola
Pasco
Pinellas
Polk
Putnam
Saint Johns
Saint Lucie
Sarasota
Seminole
Sumter
Volusia
As a customer, you do not need to do anything to get the waived fees. Verizon will automatically credit your plan for the fees during this period.
